X.Org Board Meetings: Summary for Oct 11, reminder for Oct 25

The next meeting of the X.Org Board of Directors will be *Monday*
October 25, at 2pm US/Pacific in the #xf-bod channel on the OFTC IRC network.

Note that the US does not change off of Daylight Savings Time this year until
November 7, while some countries (especially Australia & New Zealand) have had
recent time shifts, so you may want to double-check the offset from other time
zones for the next couple meetings.

The election committee wiki is still down, so Eric sent a copy of last
years instructions to the board, so that progress can continue while
the wiki is fixed.  [It was fixed shortly afterwards.]

==== Treasurer Status ====

Stuart sent the replacement check for Matt's XDS sponsorship to Keith
for cosigning.  Alex is waiting for Stuart to provide the updated
financial data for the 501(c)3 conversion that incorporates the XDS
2010 expenses and funding.

==== Logo replacement ====

Matt Dew looked into some existing sites that provide infrastructure
for design contests and provided information to the board.  A
discussion was held on whether a small payment was actually less
incentive than no payment.  So far no one seems to be passionate
enough about replacing the logo to drive forward, so if no one comes
forward, we may let the matter drop and stick with the existing one.
