A question I plan to ask at tomorrow's board meeting, but which people
probably want to read about before answering:

Do we want to participate in the Google Code-In?

This is Google's "Winter Break" program for 13-18 year old pre-college students,
and is geared towards much shorter projects than the summer of code program.

Details are posted at:

http://code.google.com/opensource/gci/2010-11/faqs.html

If we want to partcipate, we need to apply by the end of this week.
(We've already met the first requirement - being a successful mentoring
organization in a previous Summer of Code program.)

We'll also need some short tasks - coding, documentation, etc. - which are
within the skill range and time available for the expected participants, and
which don't require already knowing the X Window System in great depth.
(Participants should be able to perform multiple tasks between Nov. 22 &
 Jan. 10.)

Like the Summer of Code, I would expect the X.Org organizational entry to
cover projects across our entire set of interrelated communities - the modules
hosted by X.Org as well as DRI, Mesa, XCB, etc.
