Let the email asking for interested folks on the mailing list sit for a while, seems about 6 people are interested along with another person who needs to renew their X.org membership. Sent an email to the VESA board with details, waiting to hear a response

ITEM: X.org/Freedesktop.org domain status
SPI has a plan for transferring both domains into their ownership. Keith's asked for SPI to allow us to continue to run our own DNS servers, and to make sure that FDO admins can update DNS records without any forwarding.
Additionally, SPI asked if we were OK with using a different DNS registrar: Gandi. The board voted to approve this request.

ITEM: Requesting ledger data from SPI
We would like to get ledger data directly from SPI so we can keep better track of our expenses.
ACTIONS: Lyude to send a formal request that we also use the ledger data, and to get an as-direct-as-possible feed.
