X.Org BoD meeting minutes 2019-09-12

These are the meeting minutes the X.Org Board of Directors [1] meeting.
Minutes and IRC logs are published on the wiki [2, 3].

The X.Org board meets every two weeks on Thu/Fri (depending on your
timezone) in the #xf-bod IRC channel on irc.oftc.net. Please refer to the
X.Org Google calendar [4] for time and date of the next meeting.

For any issues that need to come to the attention of the board please email
me or board at foundation.x.org and we will add it to the agenda for the next
meeting.

Collected funds from almost everyone now. Google's unblocked, and ARM should
be making progress.

ITEM: coc training
Lyude Paul, Daniel Stone and Manasi Navare attended the CoC training session
on Monday Sept 9th. Went very well, and was quite beneficial.
ACTIONS: Send an email out about offering training to more members of X.Org
after XDC

Lyude Paul talked with Bill Lempesis from VESA about a non-profit membership
for X.Org again, will get discussed during the VESA board meeting today.

ITEM: xdc2020 video crew
The venue we're hosting XDC2020 at hires a video crew to handle doing
recording of talks. Cost is about $3500 for us.
