[2015 X.Org BoD Election] Start Delayed

Dear Members,

as annonced before the X.Org Foundation planned to start the 
2015 election to the Board of Directors and the vote for
approval of the changed By-Laws at Mon, March 9, 00:00 UTC.

This change to the By-Laws is required to allow the X.Org
Foundation to join SPI. According to the existing By-Laws
the Members of the Foundation have to approve any changes 
to the By-Laws by vote.

We had planned to hold the Board election and the vote for
approval together. Unfortunately the review of new By-Laws 
by SPI and the incorporation of the required changes takes
longer than expected, therefore we are unable to start the
election at the anticipated time.
The BoD and the election committee would like to apologize
for this inconvenience.

The X.Org BoD and SPI are working hard to get the last matters
resolved so that we can present the new version of the By-Laws
to the Members before the election starts. We expect matters
to be resolved within the next days.
