These are the meeting minutes the X.Org Board of Directors [1] meeting.
Minutes and IRC logs are published on the wiki [2, 3].

The X.Org board meets every two weeks on Thu/Fri (depending on your
timezone) in the #xf-bod IRC channel on irc.oftc.net. Please refer to the
X.Org Google calendar [4] for time and date of the next meeting.

For any issues that need to come to the attention of the board please email
me or board at foundation.x.org and we will add it to the agenda for the next
meeting.

We got one talk cancelled but it will be replaced by the first one in the
rejected queue. Samuel has drafted the program, and their plan is plan is to
publish it tomorrow. They noticed however that there are still talks pending
for confirmation, so it won't be final until we get those.

Samuel sent a reminder that the deadline for proposals is September 1st, 2021

We have one sponsor tentatively committing for Gold, and two more who are
trying to organize the money internally.

Harry hasn't heard anything from the HDMI forum yet

Lyude sent out the email looking for volunteers for this the week before last,
haven't gotten any responses yet.

ITEM: Invoice from decommissioning server
We had a request come in from the university that is still hosting some of the
older X.org servers asking us what to do with some old hard drives from the
server. This request got approved pre-maturely by mistake, so this vote was
just to make sure we were on the same page about this.

ITEM: Gitlab commit
As part of our sponsorship agreement with Gitlab we will be hosting a virtual
booth for X.org at Gitlab Commit. Lyude is currently working on coming up with
the presentation for this.
