Indeed, there seems to be a broken script: the logs of Oct 15, Nov 26, 
Dec 10, 2015 are botched, for 2016 there are no logs at all. 
Why hasn't anybody complained so far?
I do have most logs, I can add the missing ones - this may not happen
today, though.

In any case, the plan is, to replace the aging x.org machine with a
cloud based solution on a openshift.
A PaaS based solution reduces the maintenance burden - we will no
longer have to worry about keeping the system updated (installing
security updates!!), also worries about the machine or a disk failing
will be a thing of the past.
The MLs that were hosted on x.org (members, xf-board) have been moved 
to freedesktop.org as openshift would not give us a fixed IP address of
the instance delivering email.

Thanks go to Rob and Peter for setting this up on openshift as well
as to Daniel Stone, Keith Packard and the other fd.o admins for 
adjusting things on the freedesktop side.
 
A few details are still to be sorted out (maybe Rob can comment?) 
thus to avoid undue delays the upcoming board election will be
run on gabe.freedesktop.org.
