Guiltily speaking as one of the I-failed-to-vote camp, I confess that I
was unaware of that need.  (And yes, I should have known better, but I
did not think carefully about it).

I had watched the discussion, and generally agreed with the change.  I
was distracted when the election was called, and felt that I was 'safe'
leaving it to wiser heads than mine.  (That's the positive spin; the
negative, and probably more honest, is that I was too lazy to discharge
the most basic duty of a member :-(  ).

As for a path forward, what are the mechanisms for a member of the
foundation losing his or her membership standing?  As chairman of the
lazy party, I must be nearing that point - can we just have the lazy
amongst us get pruned out, and then vote again?
