Sorry, this is inaccurate. Keith and I have been co-signers of the bank
account since the day it was created.
I have not had access to the HSBC online services and records, and this
we have been fumbling about for the past
year, but it will resolved any day now. I have been at least aware of
every disbursement and the balances at all times,
but it has been too frustrating and slow to keep the funds moving, so we
have decided to move to one signer. I have my
own notes on every check that I wrote and most every check Keith wrote,
and we have made sporadic Treasurer reports
to the membership at the annual meetings. However, to do the 501c3
filing we need to account for every cent including
the fees and interest payments incurred by HSBC.
I don't mind being point person for the assets. As the Consortium
representative during the formation of the Foundation,
I always felt responsible for seeing the assets kept largely intact and
put to good use.
