X.Org Board Meetings: Summary for Oct 25 & Nov 8, reminder for Nov 21

==== Google Code-In ====

The Board discussed the Google Code-In program for High School
students to do smaller open source tasks during the late November -
early January timeframe.  Donnie volunteered to submit the application
to Google, and Alan to set up a wiki page to collect task ideas.

==== Developer book sprint ====

Bart suggested having a book sprint in conjunction with the XDC2011 to
produce an X.Org New Developer Guide.  The board agreed this sounded
like a good thing to do, and Bart volunteered to work on planning.
Stephane Marchesin offered a draft of the guide he's been working on
for Writing Linux Graphics Drivers.

==== Elections ====

The Election Committee wiki issues have been fixed and Alex will send
a draft schedule to the committee for discussion.

==== XDC 2011 ====

The board discussed the proposal Michael Larabel put forth for XDC
2011 in Chicago.  No decisions were reached though.

X.Org was not one of the projects Google selected for the Code-In
program - they accepted less than 1/7th the number from the recent
Summer of Code.

==== Treasurer Status ====

Stuart is working on gathering details for outstanding checks, and is
sending the check for the Delaware Corporate Franchise fee to Keith
for cosigning.

==== Election Committee ====

Alex asked the election committee members to respond to his proposed
election schedule e-mail.
