For the record, I think the assertion that getting rackspace and bandwidth
for 3 dedicated servers in a facility that's reliable, convenient, 
and likely to be around in 6 months for $50/month is a fantasy.

$250/month strikes me as quite reasonable, and very much in line
with what I find in the market right now.

Of course, shifting away from dedicated servers to an alternate
strategy is certainly something that may well be worth exploring,
for reasons beyond cost.

But I just wanted to say that the current spending looks quite
reasonable to me.  And I also know how thankless a task it is to run
a server such as x.org, so let me officially say - 'thanks!' to the
folks that are doing it... :-)
