I have been given no specific direction or priority; I do not intend to
serve as a corporate representative, and would not particularly relish
the role.

Our group uses X in two ways: firstly, we deploy X on our devices, which
have low footprint, few CPU cycles, and extrodinarily limited memory
bandwidth (as well as reasonably limited memory), so we have a strong
interest in preserving low-footprint X. This is currently using the
KDrive framework.

The other use (which, incidentally, also makes use of KDrive), is to be
able to replicate the device environment on a PC, for which we funded
Xephyr development a bit over two years ago. Xephyr is shipped as part
of our SDK.

My agenda for the board is purely personal, rather than corporate. The
real work I do on behalf of my employer is all out in the open, in the
X server.

Cheers,
Daniel
