X.Org BoD meeting minutes 2023-04-19

These are the meeting minutes the X.Org Board of Directors [1] meeting.
Minutes and IRC logs are published on the wiki [2, 3].

The X.Org board meets every two weeks on Thu/Fri (depending on your
timezone) in the #xf-bod IRC channel on irc.oftc.net. Please refer to the
X.Org Google calendar [4] for time and date of the next meeting.

For any issues that need to come to the attention of the board please email
me or board at foundation.x.org and we will add it to the agenda for the next
meeting.

## Note

At the time that this is sent out, the IRC logs will be incomplete. This is
because Secretary bot appears to have started having problems staying connected
to OFTC. This isn't too big of a deal as I have client logging enabled, and
will patch the logs with the missing content after sending these minutes out.

Voting starts on monday. This is our biggest election to date, with 8
candidates! Note we had to push the schedule back one week due to the next

ITEM: Mailing list issues
Apparently we had another issue with emails not getting delivered after being
sent to a bunch of different mailing lists. The problem stems from the fact
that by default, mailman doesn't allow emails through with more then 10
recepients. We've since fixed this, and updated the default on most mailing
lists to 100. As it is, I almost never see spam come through that actually has
more then 1 recepient on it - so I'm not too concerned about this causing
problems in the future.
