What's wrong with SPI (or us?) that we're not able to resolve this in
more than a year?

I looked through the minutes, and here are the status updates for this
issue going back to Sept 2019 when I think it started. There's also
the issue of the ledger data. I think it's probably time to pick up a
phone and give them a call.

SPI has a plan for transferring both domains into their ownership.
Keith's asked for SPI to allow us to continue to run our own DNS
servers, and to make sure that FDO admins can update DNS records
without any forwarding.
Additionally, SPI asked if we were OK with using a different DNS
registrar: Gandi. The board voted to approve this request.

period of time, but has since been renewed for 5 years. It has not yet been
