X.Org BoD meeting minutes 2020-04-09

These are the meeting minutes the X.Org Board of Directors [1] meeting.
Minutes and IRC logs are published on the wiki [2, 3].

The X.Org board meets every two weeks on Thu/Fri (depending on your
timezone) in the #xf-bod IRC channel on irc.oftc.net. Please refer to the
X.Org Google calendar [4] for time and date of the next meeting.

For any issues that need to come to the attention of the board please email
me or board at foundation.x.org and we will add it to the agenda for the next
meeting.

We have a nice set of nominees now, and membership renewal has been on hold
since last week. Assuming everything goes according to plan we should be able to
start on the 13th.

ITEM: GSoC/EVoC
We now have 3 proposals to consider, and the mentors+admin have until the 21st
to put in our slot request with Google. On April 13th the application process
opens up for Google's "Season of Docs".
ACTIONS: Trevor plans to apply to Google's Seasons of Docs on behalf of X.Or to
see if we can get a tech writer to help organize the project's documentation.
