just to answer that question: the mechanisms required to revoke membership
is in the bylaws:

As members we have a right to vote, not an explicit duty. I don't consider
failure to vote sufficient reason for membership revocation. 

I'd prefer though if people use the explicit abstain/white vote to send
a clear signal, it's a lot better than not voting at all.
