X.Org BoD meeting minutes 2014-05-01

These are the meeting minutes the X.Org Board of Directors [1] meeting.
Minutes and IRC logs are published on the wiki [2, 3].

The X.Org board meets every two weeks on Thu/Fri (depending on your
timezone) in the #xf-bod IRC channel on irc.oftc.net. Please refer to the
X.Org Google calendar [3] for time and date of the next meeting.

For any issues that need to come to the attention of the board please email
me or board at foundation.x.org and we will add it to the agenda for the next
meeting.

GSoC - all our slots got accepted, we're now in the "get to know each other"
period, followed by the start of coding on May 19. Following GSoC we got a
few EVoC enquiries.

period, followed by the start of coding on May 19.

ITEM: X.Org EVoC (Endless Vacation of Code)
We had a bunch of enquiries about the X.Org EVoC, probably by students who
are looking for fallback programs after GSoC was decided.
See http://www.x.org/wiki/XorgEVoC/, Matt D is reconfirmed as the contact.
Minimum expected from a student is a good proposal, especially since 
mentors are likely busy with GSoC atm.
ACTION: Matt D to reply to initial enquiries as they come in
