The X.Org Foundation without the coders and the software they
create would be useless - an empty hull sitting on some funds.

Therefore I feel that the primary goal of the Foundation should be
to foster the cooperation among our contributors and give them the
opportunities to expand their skills to benefit the software they
are creating.
To do this it helps if Board Members had some feeling for how
free software development in general and our development processes
in particular work.
I've sensed a lack of this on the present board which contributed to
the need for lengthy explanations and deliberations which rendered
the Board ineffective.

Cheers,
	Egbert.
