[Members] X.Org Foundation Election/By-laws vote results

The Board of Directors election and the vote on the By-laws concluded at
23:59 GMT on 12 November 2006.  There are 104 current Members of the
X.Org Foundation, and 74 Members cast votes.  This is a 71.2% turn out.

In the election of the Directors to the Board of the X.Org Foundation,
the results were that Egbert Eich, Bart Massey, Keith Packard and Daniel
Stone were elected for two year terms, and Stuart Kreitman was elected
for a one year term.

The old full board is:

The new full board is:

  Daniel Stone

Regarding the question of whether or not to approve the new By-laws:

the results were:

Approve  59
Reject    2
Abstain  13

The total number of eligible votes cast in the new By-laws approval
question was 61 (after excluding the 13 abstentions) with 59 approving
the new By-laws and 2 rejecting the new By-laws.  With 96.7% voting for
approval, the new By-laws are approved.

As a reminder, we will be holding another vote on the new Membership
Agreement, once consensus has been reached on the final wording.
